A family-owned business, established in 1980, NVD was set up to assist vehicle manufacturers in the timely and incident free distribution of their products. Role Summary

The role is responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs, including panel replacement, alignment, cosmetic and heavy repairs, to manufacturer and company standards. Working as part of a skilled bodyshop team, the position requires expertise in strip and refit, panel repair, chassis alignment, and welding, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible quality.


Our wages range from €51K to €68K per year (depending on skill level and qualifications) on a 4-day week shift pattern working Tuesday to Friday and Wednesday to Saturday on rotation.


The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability and precision in all aspects of body repair, from light filler and plastic repairs to complex structural work. They will use a range of specialist tools and equipment, including dent pulling and welding systems, and will prepare repaired panels for painting and finishing.


A commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and determination to get the job done are essential. Some computer literacy is required (training provided), along with flexibility to work shifts as required. A full, clean Class B driving licenceis essential for this role.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our Accident Repair Centre.

Requirements

  • All types of panel replacement : Bonded, welded (all types of steel and alloy)

  • Chassis alignment (Pulling, jigging and measuring)

  • EV cars. Some form of electrical training ( Powering down HV battery)

  • Good knowledge of suspension work. Using spring compressors, using bearing press, Transferring steering racks and coding racks (Angle sensors)

  • Basic Knowledge of Adas and 4 wheel alignment. (Training given)

  • Diagnostics, Fault finding, pre and post scans

  • Basic mechanical knowledge . Knowing if there is engine damage before we start an insurance body repair starts, Rad replacements, Air con revacs, Possible engine removal.

  • All types of filler work , Priming and prepping for paint.
