About NVD

A family-owned business, established in 1980, NVD was set up to assist vehicle manufacturers in the timely and incident-free distribution of their products. Role Summary 

We are looking at graduate product engineer to join our expanding team.  OGH design, manufacture and supply vehicle solutions to the automotive sector. These  solutions the conversions of vehicles from passenger to commercial and well as  bespoke ply lining of commercial vans.

Responsibilities  

  • To work with management on the implementation and integration of a new

    ERP  system. 

    1) Putting together base data for the roll out of the business. 

    2) Testing this base data. 

    3) Support on the evolution of the system to suit business needs. 

    4) Rollout of the system in the workshop with all employees. 

  • Design new products and get ready for market in line with OGH new product introduction process: 

    1) Design using Inventor. 

    2) Design review. 

    3) Design for manufacturing. 

    4) Prototyping. 

    6) Customer feedback. 

    7) Serial production readiness. 

  • Assist with the workshop with continuous improvement projects in improving the  manufacturing of new and existing products. 

  • Assist in the ongoing compliance in ISO 9001 within the organisation. 5. Assist in procurement with range of suppliers. 

  • Engagement with operations department in the manufacture and installation of  group products and supporting where required with technical know how,  drawings etc….  


Qualifications 

  • Degree in Engineering. 

  • Experience in product engineering within vehicle bodybuilding or manufacturing  environment desirable.
